1. Sit in the leg press machine. Place the balls of your feet on the lower edge of the footplate, keeping your legs straight but not locked. 2. Release the safety catches. Lower your heels slowly until you feel a deep stretch in your calves. 3. Push through the balls of your feet to fully raise your heels as high as possible, squeezing your calves.
